hiv/aidsPapers on HIV/AIDS have been published in the RHM journal in one supplement from 1996 onwards and have now been collected onto one CD (see List of Contents). Most have been distributed previously in print or on CD at several international AIDS conferences. The papers cover issues related to HIV, pregnancy and having children, preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, making sex safer, issues of concern for young women and men, human rights and ethics, sexuality and gender, HIV in sexual and reproductive health services, condom use, sex work, and sociopolitical and health systems issues. The papers are for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, policymakers, service providers, researchers, NGOs, international agencies, donors, and women's health and rights advocates with an interest in HIV and AIDS, sexual and reproductive health. We look forward to the day when the world begins to defeat the HIV epidemic through the practice of safer sex and other forms of prevention, and the universal availability of life-sustaining treatment for everyone with HIV and AIDS. This CD including full text of all papers is available free from the Reproductive Health Matters editorial office. Abstracts of all articles can be found online at www.rhm-elsevier.com. |
